It is a common thought that air conditioning lowers the temperature in their commercial property simply by pumping cool air in. However, what is really happening is that the warm air in your building is being removed and filtered back as cooler air, this continues until your thermostat reaches the desired temperature.
In short, an air conditioning unit is like a refrigerator without the insulated box. It uses the evaporation of a refrigerator.
Air conditioning also help clean the air on your property. Most indoor units have filters that catch dust, pollen, mould spores and other allergens as well as smoke and every day dirt found in the air. Most air conditioners will function as dehumidifiers. They take excess water from the air and use it to help cool the unit before getting rid of the water through a hose to the outside. Other units use the condensed moisture to improve efficiency by routing the cooled water back into the system to be reused.
